How many hours does it take for the water to heat up in a solar shower?
Basically, it takes about two hours for the water in the tank to heat up, but it also depends on whether the shower is exposed to the sun. Remember that a dark color heats the solar shower water first.

How long will I have hot water?
Several factors come into play here

- the exposure time
- the outside temperature
- the position of the shower, place it where the sun will be most of the day

Some tips
The water coming out of the shower head after turning off the tap is not a defect, but a technical requirement!
A solar shower is not a closed system. If there is a demand for hot water, cold water enters the tank from below through the valve and pushes the hot water already at the top of the tank to the outside.
The entire shower body is filled of water and acts as solar heating.
The pressure that builds up as a result of heating can escape through the shower head.
